When you stay in Porto, and be in the middle of the action, and close to the city’s biggest attractions, it’s best to stay in the city’s historic center. The Aliados, Clérigos and Ribeira areas continue to be the most popular areas, but they are quite busy. Praça da Batalha, Bolhão and Cedofeita are excellent options, less busy in terms of number of tourists, but equally well located and with quality accommodation. Boavista also continues to be a good option, despite being a little further from the center.
